Tony Stark had JARVIS monitoring his vitals, flagging problems before he felt them. Microsoft just opened a waitlist for the civilian version.

Microsoft launched Copilot Health, a secure space within Copilot that pulls data from 50+ wearables, health records from over 50,000 U.S. hospitals, and lab results into one AI-interpreted layer. Every insight links back to credible sources like Harvard Health. CEO Mustafa Suleyman framed the long-term goal as "medical superintelligence": AI with the breadth of a general physician and the depth of a specialist.

The strategic bet is specific. Microsoft built Copilot Health to make your doctor visit more productive, not to replace it. That reveals where the company sees real value: preparation, not diagnosis. The most underserved moment in healthcare is the one right before the appointment, when patients are anxious, scattered, and unsure what to ask. Owning that moment with unified, interpreted personal data may prove more commercially significant than building the best diagnostic engine.

"The race in healthcare AI has quietly shifted from building the smartest diagnosis to owning the time before the appointment takes place."

Google Gives Maps Its Biggest Navigation Overhaul in a Decade

Ask Maps answers conversational location questions, drawing on 300 million places and 500 million community contributors to deliver personalized recommendations and one-tap bookings. Immersive Navigation renders routes in 3D, with Gemini analyzing Street View and aerial imagery to surface lanes, crosswalks, and building entrances in real time. Natural voice guidance, alternate-route tradeoffs, and live disruption alerts round out the update, which extends to CarPlay, Android Auto, and cars with Google built-in.

BUSINESS IMPACT:

Mapping Competitors (Apple Maps, Waze):
Google's conversational AI layer sets a capability gap rivals can't close quickly.

Travel & Hospitality Platforms:
Native reservations and itinerary planning inside Maps reduce the need to open a separate booking app.

Automotive Hardware:
CarPlay, Android Auto, and in-car integration extend Google's navigation dominance into the vehicle, leaving little room for standalone GPS makers.
