Every startup founder knows the ritual: fly out, buy the coffee, work the room. Lyzr's AI agent skipped all three and came back with $100 million funding.

The three-year-old Jersey City startup let its own AI agent run its $100 million fundraise. The system, SivaClaw, fielded questions from over 130 investors, drafted investment memos, and tracked which slides backers lingered on. The Series B closed at a roughly $500 million valuation, with $400 million in total interest pulled from Silicon Valley, the Middle East, and financial-sector investors. No founder flew out. No coffee meetings on Sand Hill Road. No warm intros.

The product sold itself by selling itself, which is the part worth sitting with. For decades, the hardest part of raising money was access: the introductions, the travel, the performance of the pitch. Lyzr collapsed that into a workflow. What this signals for anyone building a company is a shift in where founder time actually earns its return. When an agent can carry the mechanical weight of a raise, the scarce resource stops being hustle and starts being the thing worth raising for.

"The pitch used to be theater. Lyzr turned it into a background process."

Anthropic Gives US K-12 Teachers Free Claude Access, With Curricula Mapped to All 50 States' Standards

Anthropic launched Claude for Teachers, connecting verified educators to Learning Commons and standards-aligned curricula like OpenSciEd and Illustrative Mathematics, plus integrations with nine K-12 tools including Canva Education and MagicSchool. Teaching skills built around lesson planning, differentiation, and class-data analysis were co-developed with Learning Commons and tested in classrooms. Student data is excluded from model training and protected under a FERPA-compliant addendum, with terms aligned to standards being developed with the American Federation of Teachers.

BUSINESS IMPACT:

EdTech Platforms:
Free premium access bundled with an open ecosystem pressures paid lesson-planning and tutoring tools to justify subscriptions or integrate rather than compete.

K-12 Curriculum Publishers:
Direct mapping to all 50 states' standards positions AI as the delivery layer for instructional content, reshaping how publishers reach classrooms.

Rival AI Providers:
A free, education-specific offering with union-aligned privacy terms raises the bar for competitors targeting the school market.
