Major CRMs Push AI Agents - Making AI Adoption Easier

As Bryan Goode, the Corporate VP of Microsoft, recently phrased it,  “Every line of business system that exists today is going to get reimagined as an agent that sits on top of a copilot.”

CRMs (customer relationship managers) are a great place to start for Gen AI because they are typically the treasure troves of business data, and a lot of text-heavy actions occur there. Over the last year, generative AI made it possible for people to massively increase their output with the right prompting. Imagine the productivity boosts when these tasks can occur autonomously and proactively.

Goode’s statement was made right as Microsoft announced 10 new autonomous agents and a copilot builder being made available for Dynamics365 this month. It’s no coincidence that last Tuesday Salesforce made their own announcement promoting Agentforce and Agent Builder, their competing new autonomous agent tools.
