✨ AWS Launches No-Code App Builder

Will Kids Still Need to Learn to Code?

Your weekly briefing on all things AI

Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang made a bold claim that’s becoming more true every week: “kids no longer need to learn programming.”

Amazon is the latest household name to join the No-Code fray, but recent releases from Anthropic (Claude 3.5) are also proving to take much of the leg-work out of coding. Shifting our mindsets towards use-cases and “what’s possible” will be the key ingredient to staying ahead. This week we’ve got some pretty remarkable disruptions in jobs ranging from open heart surgery to recruiting.

AWS Introduces App Studio: Empowering Non-Coders to Build Enterprise Software

Amazon Web Services (AWS) unveiled App Studio, a tool empowering non-coding technical professionals to build enterprise software. Users simply describe their desired application, and App Studio's generative AI generates the code. This enables IT professionals, data engineers, and product managers to create complex applications without coding expertise. App Studio supports multi-page interfaces, integration with various data sources, and business logic embedding. AWS ensures quality through testing and deployment pipelines, while addressing security and governance. Currently in preview, App Studio leverages advanced AI models for enhanced functionality.
